Beth : — Sasha, we have arrested Nasty Nicky. Je vais l'interroger. Sasha : — D'accord. Moi, je prends des notes. Beth : — So, Nicky, where are the animals? If you tell us now, you won't go to prison* for too long.* Nasty Nicky : — I don't know where the animals are. And even if I did, I wouldn't tell you. Sasha : — Comment ça, elle ne sait pas où sont les animals ? Beth : — What did you do with the animals? Nasty Nicky : — I gave them to my boss. Beth : — Sasha, elle dit qu'elle a donné les animaux à son patron. Sasha : — Mais pourquoi elle a pris Pointu ? Beth : — Why did you do that, Nicky? Nasty Nicky : — Well, my boss asked me to… Sasha : — Parce que son chef le lui a demandé… Nasty Nicky : — That, and a big load of money. Beth : — Elle a fait ça pour the money, euh… l'argent. Sasha : — Et ce boss, c'est qui ? Beth : — Back to you, Nicky. Your boss, who is it? Nasty Nicky : — Won't tell. Beth : — Listen, Nicky, all that money won't do you any good in prison. So either you talk, or I'll make sure you don't get out of jail before pounds have been replaced by another currency! Nasty Nicky : — OK, OK, but I don't know much about him, only his face and his voice. Sasha : — Je ne sais pas ce que tu lui as dit, mais c'était efficace… Beth : — Oui, elle va nous décrire son chef. Prends des notes, surtout !
